Update 1. 2023-01-05, 12pm. Most works completed, some works remain to be carried out to rsync.tchpc.tcd.ie, our SSH access host, that will mean it is intermittently unavailable today, apologies for the inconvenience.
Update 2. 2023-01-05, 4:30pm. All works completed, rsync back available.
In order to perform essential maintenance, the Research IT Network will be offline between 8am and 10am Thursday 5th of January, 2023. There will be a further at-risk period for the remainder of that working day during which the network may be unstable if any additional remedial work is required.
All hosts and services on our network will be inaccessible from the internet and College network during this period.
HPC Cluster jobs will continue to run during this period, but the clusters and their file systems will not be accessible.
Network access from offices in the Lloyd & CRANN Buildings that are connected to our network will be down.
Any websites or other servers hosted on our network, (e.g. those with tchpc.tcd.ie in the URL), will be inaccessible during this period.
We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.
